Hyvä tietää heti alkuun:

  • Orkesterimme koostuu amatööreistä ja puoliammattilaisista. Soittamistamme tukevat myös ammattilaiset (esim. solistit, konserttimestari ja muut tarvittavat roolit)
  • Ohjelmistomme ovat vaativia, mutta eivät mahdottomia. Yhteisissä harjoituksissa käyminen on kuitenkin vain osa työstä. Omatoiminen harjoittelu on erittäin suotavaa – jopa pakollista.
  • Yhteiset harjoitukset pidetään torstaisin klo 18:00-20:45 Tapiolassa, Omnian tiloissa osoitteessa Itätuulenpiha 1. Lähempänä konserttia pidämme usein myös ylimääräisiä harjoituksia tarpeen mukaan.
  • Kevään 2025 harjoitukset alkavat 23.1.2025.
  • Konserttipäivät ovat 25.4.2025 ja 26.4.2025.

  1. Ihan aluksi tarkista ohjelmisto ja konserttiaikataulu. Sopivatko nämä sinulle?
  2. Seuraavaksi laita viestiä tämän sivun alalaidassa olevalla lomakkeella. Osa soitinsektioista on jo täynnä, joten on hyvä kysyä ensin, mikä tilanne on oman instrumenttisi kohdalla. Samalla voit kysyä muita mahdollisesti mieltäsi askarruttavia kysymyksiä.
  3. Kun saat vastauksen, että soitinsektiossasi on tilaa, ilmoittaudu aikuisopiston (Omnian) kurssille. Kurssille ilmottautuminen on pakollista, jotta voit soittaa Espoo Sinfoniassa. Saat myöhemmin myös laskun kurssimaksusta. Ilmoittautuminen tapahtuu täällä.
  4. Nähdään harjoituksissa!

Come and play at the Espoo Symphony!

Good to know right away:

  • Our orchestra consists of amateurs and semi-professionals. Our playing is also supported by professionals (e.g. soloists, concert master and other necessary roles)
  • Our program is demanding, but not impossible. However, going to joint exercises is only part of the job. Self-paced training is highly desirable – even mandatory.
  • The joint rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 18:00 to 20:45 in Tapiola, Omnia’s premises at Itätuulenpiha 1. Closer to the concert, we often also hold extra rehearsals as needed.
  • Spring 2025 exercises start on January 23, 2025.
  • The concert dates are 25 April 2025 and 26 April 2025.

  1. First of all, check the program and the concert schedule. Are these right for you?
  2. Next, send a message using the form at the bottom of this page. Some of the instrument sections are already full, so it’s good to ask first what the situation is with your own instrument. At the same time, you can ask other questions that might bother you.
  3. When you get the answer that there is space in your instrument section, register for the adult college (Omnia) course. Registering for the course is mandatory in order to play in the Espoo Sinfonia. Later you will also receive an invoice for the course fee. Registration takes place here.
  4. See you at the rehearsals!
